As an experienced reiki practitioner Bev has seen significant results in clients through having a number of sessions.

Reiki is not particularly a treatment for a specific illness or condition but it seems to relieve the symptoms by getting to the root cause which often lies in the persons energy system. If you do have an acute or chronic medical condition you should consult a doctor. However reiki will complement any existing medical treatments supporting  the body in its natural healing.

I offer a calm, quiet space for total relaxation. Currently I work from my therapy room in Glossop, Derbyshire. We are 30 minutes from the centre of Manchester via train.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for deep relaxation involving the gentle placing of hands on or above the body in a series of hand positions which are considered to allow the body to balance itself and restore its natural state of healing. 

You remain fully clothed throughout the treatment.

You can receive reiki in a sitting or a lying down position. Soothing music, candles and essential oils can be used if you wish although they are not essential to the healing process, they do help many clients relax.

I often use crystals in my treatments as these are particularly helpful in bringing about change.I may even recommend crystals for you to wear if this seems appropriate.

I can also offer many different types of energy healing which we can chat about at your initial consultation. 
  • Chakra balancing with crystals and a pendulum can be really cleansing and balancing.
  • A specific crystal healing with crystals you can choose, or I can recommend, to support the deep healing ability of the body.
  • Use of singing bowls,
  • Healing and coaching combined for a two hour session can be beneficial for those who need to gain clarity,and support in moving forward in their life.
A treatment takes around an hour although your initial appointment will be longer so we can talk about your reasons for a treatment.

What does it feel like to have a reiki treatment?

Many people report warmth when the hands are placed on the body. Sometimes people experience tingling, or perceive colours, and feel light entering their body. Most people report a feeling of peace, and calm and deep relaxation which they may not have experienced for a long time.

How many sessions will I need?

Generally as part of a treatment program I would recommend a sequence of treatments set over a couple of months, and then a follow up when the person feels the need. In this way the person can benefit immensely from the longer term benefits of having a course of treatments. 

However some clients come for a treatment purely for an experience of relaxation and stress relief and do not feel the need for a tailored program of treatments and will come when needed.


How much will it cost?
Initial appointment is for 1 and half hours as a well being assessment is made.This costs £35

Additional appointments are £30 for 1 hour 

A coaching and healing appointment is a two hour session and cost £80

For clients wanting a course of 6 treatments a discount is offered when booked in a block.
